Air Force Research Lab Laser Demonstration To Students

On Wednesday, April 24th, Lieutenant Brennan Taylor from the Air Force Research Lab presented a laser demonstration to students in grades 5 through 8. The STEM demonstration consisted of explaining and showing students the research being conducted by the Air Force in engineering technology to adjust for vibrations and atmospheric disturbances in controlling the accuracy of lasers. 

Mrs. Rivera, the 5th grade teacher, will be working with Captain Matthew Cooper and Lieutenant Brennan Taylor this summer at the Air Force Research Lab. She will be assisting them in modifying this existing STEM demonstration used for educational outreach in order to improve the presentation delivery of the underlying scientific concepts.
